CUCUMBER PLANTATION

This is a flagship of Akwa Ibom State Government’s investments in agriculture. There are ten Green Houses completed with vegetables – tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers – which are already in sales in large quantities. Located along Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, the ten Green Houses are on one hectare each. Already, a business case has been conducted on the Vegetable Green Houses. The project is expected to grow in commercial quantities crops like tomato, cucumber, green or red pepper, cabbage, lettuce and okra.
